The International Council on Social Welfare (ICSW) is a global non-governmental organisation which represents a wide range of national and international member organisations that seek to advance social welfare, social development and social justice. More information can be found here.

- The Civil Society Forum held prior to the February UN Commission for Social Development addressed Bridging the Gap to Poverty Eradication – the Social Protection Floor Initiative. Braema Mathiaparanam, ICSW Regional President for SE Asia and the Pacific and Chairperson/Coordinator, Singapore Working Group for an ASEAN Human Rights Mechanism presented a paper on the subject.
- ICSW presented its statement to the UN Commission for Social Development, focusing on poverty eradication. The Commission typically examines a subject over two years, with 2011-12 dedicated to poverty eradication. The statements for 2011 & 2012 can be found in all UN languages below
